from the initial engagement/contract negotiations through expansion

Business Analyst/Strategy Consultant
Business Analyst position with eCommerce software development
Primary Function:
Act as a translator of customer business requirements into technical
design specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Understand, analyze and engineer the strategy and business objectives of DeVine
- Act as a liaison between DeVine technical groups and customers
- Help our team to develop business and identify our customer's requirements
- Work with web developers, data base designers, system architects and programmers
- to build and extend our state-of-the-art eCommerce system
- Producing presentations materials and validating proposals
- Provide business process re-engineering support to our Project Manager
- Some travel may required
Experience:
- 5+ years of business analysis experience
- Knowledge of the Internet, eCommerce integration/consulting
- Expert communication, analytical, and interviewing skills
- An in-dept knowledge of business process definition
- Experience with Visio, HTML and similar areas
- Knowledge of structured design methodologies and time and cost estimating
- Excellent writing and customer service skills
- A track record of delivering high quality, on-time results
Education:
MBA in business and/or equivalent work experience
